TV host and Chelsea FC’s official Spanish presenter Jose Antonio Lopez posted the following photo on Instagram today:
Confirming this stat, Spanish outlet A Bola published news this morning, stating that Betis’ VP and chief commercial officer Xaltès Cuadra will join FC Barcelona as club president, succeeding Denis Varela, in January 2020. Barcelona is reportedly looking to hire a new president to lead a new three-year project, after former president Sandro Rosell admitted he’d misused club funds to finance his ex-wife and daughter’s wedding.
As a result of this decision, RGC LaLiga are reportedly looking for someone to replace Cuadra. “We cannot confirm his candidacy at this stage, but we are in contact with him and we hope this will be the case,” Juan Carlos Orfara, RGC LaLiga’s communication director told Spanish outlet Omnisport.
Lopez, who formerly hosted sporting events in Argentina, has relocated to Spain for the project, calling it “one of the most exciting projects in my life.” He will also host live shows on TV9 in his home country.
