“I’ve been a huge fan of Steven Spielberg’s ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’, and I’ve been a fan of all of the original films since ‘The Exorcist,’” said Fox, referring to the three classic horror films he’ll be starring in. “I’ve seen every single thing that Spielberg has ever made. I’ve seen everything from ‘Amistad’ to ‘Lolita’. I was just thrilled when Diane Warren was cast in ‘The Artist’, because I adore her and I have such respect for her. And then Peter Weir, who I’ve seen his acting in everything. I have a great deal of respect for him because we have such a great affinity for each other, and he was wonderful and he came in and he was so great.”

“I remember when we were filming ‘The Aviator’ and we came across this little studio, they were in a back hallway and Peter said, ‘I’ve been wanting to work in this back room, it’s like a little private club.’ And so he moved in there and and he did really great work in this little back room, and so it’s been a special joy working with him on that film, and I just hope we’ve done some of the same kind of stuff. So I hope we’ve made a little movie together in the back room of the movie theater.”
